Christmas cards 13 December

 

Baubles

Stamp with gold embossing powder 2 large green and 1 small red baubles then cut out. Colour holly leaves with holly green, small leaves apple cider. Berries and decoration berry red. Foam pads under baubles add peel off for hangers and stick bows.

Wise men

Crowns sunflower yellow, gifts olive green Beards and hair and shoe firewood or umber brown. Faces and hands satin (cream). Middle king pear green and heatwave (orange). King on right Prussian blue and sunflower. King to left marine and sleigh bell yellow.

Poinsettia

Put alternate strips left to right using 1” pencil marks as a guide. The top strips are left to right matching green to green and red to red. Peel off dots to centre of poinsettia.

Snowy cottage

Mask off a circle and add speckled egg ink around the edges. Mask off across the cirle and add more ink to mark the ground. Remove mask and stamp border with black ink. Red glaze pen to berries. Cabin colour firewood or umber brown, windows sunflower, door berry red. Add dots with quickie glue pen to add glitter. Frosted lace stickles to roof and snow.

Snowflakes

Stamp snowflakes onto small blue piece of card with frosty dawn. Stamp the sentiment with blue embossing powder or use a peel off. You will need to trim the silver banner.

Christmas Tree iris folding

The paper strips are a variety of sizes as the segments vary in width the small rectangle is for the middle.

Merry Christmas Wreath

Poinsettia berry red and marsh green, centre is sunflower yellow. spikey greenery is marsh green. Mistletoe apple cider green. Holly leaves holly green and berry red. Rosehips burnt sienna brown. Fir cone firewood or umber. Bundled sage ink to edges of embossed layer.

O little town of Bethlehem

Dark green is winter spruce and marsh green, beige areas are grey squirrel, light pink is red sweater. Dark red roof red sweater and firewood or umber. Dotted areas pastel beige or sandstone. Bluish building is twilight sky and firewood or umber roof. Lilac building is greyish lavender (copic pen). Palm tree is sandstone and marsh green. Sakura pen to black dots.

Red flowers in a frame

Leaves apple green, red flowers are berry red, blue flowers pastel or powder blue. Sunflower yellow. Foam pads under picture.

Lighthouse

Shells very little vintage photo oxide ink. Lighthouse berry red and sunflower yellow windows, ice grey 2, door and railings. Foam pads under lighthouse centre. Background watch geli plate demo.

Dress

Skirt and neckline shapes capri blue, large petals and dots at the bottom wild cranberry pink. Stand almond (cream). Yellow decoration canary. Stardust stickles to dress, dots use Sakura pen. Edges wild cranberry pen. Background faded jeans ink through stencil. Black gem to silver flower.

 Sparkle flowers (square card)

Background is various stencils and very light faded jeans ink. Stamp flowers then colour with bright orange and canary yellow then add stardust stickles.

Red flowers and tags

Stencil both background white sheets with speckled egg ink. Flowers berry red and marsh green, edges reef blue, stardust stickles to centres. Leave an opening for tags, don’t stick all the way round.

Iris folding Cat

Use plain brown paper for tail, head and paws. You have different widths of coloured paper as the segments vary in width. When you get towards the middle keep layering paper. Edges pale brown or antique linen ink. Draw in whiskers and nose with pencil. The eyes are the number 8 peel off centres.

Knitting

Wool marine blue, china blue and sunflower yellow. Needles ice grey 2. Table tea green. Leaves and bushes marsh green. Wall and gate grey squirrel. Grass pressed leaf green. Vase almond (cream), basket winter spruce green, teacup pebble blue and edges sleigh bell yellow. Biscuit sandstone (beige).Sakura pen to flower and biscuit centres. Edges faded jeans ink.

Butterfly and flowers

Leaves marsh green, bottom flowers PP5 pink, middle flower 499 pink, top flower dark pink copic pen. Butterfly body and lower wings pattern plum preserve, inner wings lilac. Crescent shapes pale grape copic pen, outer edges of top wings maroon. Sakura clear pen to decorate butterfly. Edges lilac.

14 June General cards

 

Car

Windows and centre of wheels ice grey 2, tyres and bumpers cool grey 4, front lights tulip yellow, car royal blue. Sakura pen to lights and bumpers. Edges faded jeans ink. Foam pads under sentiment.

Book easel anniversary

Make sure to stick ribbon before sticking layers together. Red wine is red sweater, bottle label and top tea green. Little peel off dots for bubbles. Gems to flowers. Foam pads under sentiment to make card stopper.

Orange Lilly

Leaves apple green. Stamen burnt orange, flower and edges 528. Add extra layers of colour as shading. Circles egg nog yellow. Stencil leaves with bundled sage oxide ink.

Vase Lili of the valley

Stamp borders with black ink top and bottom with stamp platform. With gold embossing powder decorate vase, mask off the vase base first. Stick white flower heads on to green stems. Don’t stick the top of the vase as you need to put flower stems inside.

Rose and petunia

Marsh green on rose leaves and apple cider green on other leaves, petunia is orchid (lilac) and rose is treat or treat pink. Edges pink pen.

Bunnies

Onto the white card use oval and circle to apply faded jeans and speckled egg ink, moon is antique linen and fossilised amber oxide inks. Stamp flowers and hares with oval still in place. Put the picture under the navy-blue card with the wider space for sentiment at the bottom. Sakura pen to flowers.

You’re spectacular

Burger bun is sandstone, burger burnt sienna, cheese sunflower yellow. Glasses frame bright green, lenses ice grey 1, drink terracotta and ice grey 1, Sakura pen to top of bun and glasses decoration. Edges ripe persimmon ink. Fluffy stuff to top of drink. Black peel off to edge of green paper.

Wellies

Leaves marsh green, rose 5240 pink, other flowers reef blue, cornflower and canary yellow. Watering can icicle grey gloves 445 green. Wellies pastel blue and 445 dots. Stardust stickles to sunflowers and edges iced spruce.

Anniversary

Stamp message with black ink on stamp press. Stamp largest heart with vintage champagne embossing powder. Edges antique linen ink. Peel off dots to flowers.

Dahlia card

Apply salt water taffy ink via stencil to patterned paper. Leaves marsh green and pale pink or pastel pink to flowers. Edges taffy ink.

Men’s shirt

Fold shirt as per instructions. Trim tie to fit. Edges peacock feathers ink.

Purple flower

Large leaves and stems marsh green, small leaves apple cider. Outer flower plum preserve, flower centre lilac. Ground walnut brown. Sakura pen to flower centre and small leaves. Edges lilac promarker. Background pumice stone ink via stencil with blender brush. Foam pads under sentiment.
