14 March Inks and Stencil

Church

Sky and grass chalk. Sakura clear pen to windows, bushes 8270,   pressed leaf or apple cider all greens. Foam pads under frame. Edges of sentiment squeezed lemonade ink.

Blue flower

Apply texture paste through stencil, when dry cut to size. Cut out flowers and put brad in middle

Yellow flower

Paint flower and leaves with butterscotch and rusty hinge ink for flower and bamboo green ink for leaves or colour with sunflower yellow sleigh bell yellow and marsh green promarkers. Sakura clear pen to flower centre dots and stick small round die cut to centre. Shape leaves and flowers, foam pads under sentiment.

Black get well.

Dusty concord and faded jeans ink to background then stamp leaves etc. Foam pads under tag.

7 March Iris folding

Lilac flowers

Edges dusty concord ink, gems to flowers.

Wine glasses

Cut a curve in the 2 large pieces of paper, lay them down first then complete the glasses. Peel off dots for bubbles.

Swirly stencil

Use brillaince ice blue and Anna Griffin brown ink through stencil. Edges antique linen ink. Place cream petals into hexagon.

Church window

Complete iris folding then place window frame on top. Gems to flowers.

28 February glitter cards

Blue glitter

Royal blue wink glitter to flower and pale grey to decorative frame. Foam pads under blue flower. Gems to corners.

Music and flowers

Edges of picture and sentiment trick or treat pink promarker. Sakura clear pen to dots and flowers on music, gems to flowers.

Cross

Green glitter under cross, edges bundled sage ink. Sakura clear pen to flower centres.

Turquoise flower

Edges peacock feathers or evergreen bough ink.

Poppy

Leaves marsh green, glossy accents to poppy.

Shirt

Cut out shirt and collar, cut a slit for hanky, foam pads under collar and top of tie.

Blue heart

Apply pearl gilding polish to blue embossed with your finger.  Shape flower by squeezing. Foam pads under hearts.

Red heart

Apply graphite gilding polish to black embossed layer with your finger. Foam pads under hearts.

Shape petals by squeezing.

Wild flowers

Use lettuce and denim alcohol ink to background, stamp flowers and add sakura clear pen.

31 January Cards Twisted corner

Gold Tree

Gold powder added to ultra thick slap it on applied through a stencil. Tips of leaves have gold gilding wax.

Yellow Flower

Cut out leaves and flowers, black glaze pen to flower centre.

Blue Flower

Cut out leaves and flowers, black glaze pen to flower centre.

Golf

17 January double z fold

Snowdrops

Fold back front at crease.

Snowdrop leaves marsh green. With a damp paintbrush add white frosting paste to flowers. Edges bundled sage. Gems to front border. Thin border is to cover the edge of patterned paper.

Ties

Edges stormy sky or weathered wood ink. Put a pencil line on tie to show knot. Half a foam pad under body of each tie and glue the top of tie.

Get well

Stitch ECG with double red thread. Cut out medicine bottles and add extra colour with berry red for heart and burnt sienna or henna (brown) for bottles, spoon ice grey 2. Shape bottles and put foam pads down the centre. Put peel off ‘get well soon’ onto plaster.

Burgundy flower

Cut out flower and between petals to shape, stamp and emboss borders with Verdigris powder. Edges plumeria burgundy ink.
