24 February Screen cards

Dresses

Hide white edges by colouring with a promarker. Curl dresses with blade of scissors. Use 3D  foam pads top and bottom of dresses plus glue to waistline. Edges black soot or pumice stone ink.

Flower screen

Marsh green stems, canary or sunflower yellow, china blue, cardinal red. Edges black soot ink or black pen. Stardust stickles to flower centres.

Decorator

Scallop punch to top edge. Brush handles berry red, brush hairs ice grey 2 or 3, flesh is satin promarker, other colours used amethyst, trick or treat, ice grey 2 or 3, hair and shoes umber or firewood, overalls frozen lake or powder blue or pastel blue, hat reef blue or capri. 3D foam pads to brushes then acrylic paint applied once on card with small stiff brush. Edges faded jeans or chipped sapphire ink.

Cat

Pear green eyes, henna and spice or terracotta, collar sleigh bell + sakura clear pen, edges rust hinge ink.

Roses

Marsh green, dusky rose, edges pumice stone ink or chalk. 3D foam pads under roses and sentiment

10 February Pocket cards

Double pocket with lace

Stick down the pockets just at outer edges so that tags can be inserted. Use red backed tape for lace. stamp emboss heart on tag with silver embossing powder. Edges of tags silver gilding wax.

Tissue in pocket

Faux  stitches around edges with black pen. Curl pocket with scissors and flowers with poky tool, fold tissue to give triangle at top. Edges pumice stone ink.

Pink heart

Edges and embossed layer cloudy blue Adirondack ink or chalk, keep sponge very flat and gently apply ink to embossed flowers.

Just a note

Marsh green, wild cranberry and plum preserve promarkers. Edges dusty concord ink, star dust stickles to flower centres.

Mosaic

Stick white border to card then stick pinks inside.

3 February Window cards

Brown window box

Stick blind on back of window then patterned paper. Edges of window frame and brick wall gathered twig or frayed burlap ink or chalk.

Cat

Black soot ink to edges of brick wall and window box. Cut out cat and use black pen or ink to cover white edges. Curtain pelmet on back of window then curtains and backing paper.

Trees

Mask the horizon line then use bundled sage ink for grass and chalk for sky. Score vertical lines on brown card to make panel effect. Curtain tie backs are peel off.

Ties

Put pencil marks on ties for knots. Curl edges of ties use 3D foam pads. Stick ends of string to back of card. edge of oval rusty hinge ink, writing up the right way. embossed layer edges scattered straw ink then umber promarker on top.

Poppies

Berry red and marsh green, edge of flower picture red promarker, edge of embossed black soot ink.

27 January Stamping

Music

Guitar berry red, ice grey 2 or 1, monitors grey squirrel with firewood or umber edges. Guitar strap reef blue, posters sleigh bell, heatwave, 7170. Guitar case 542, cup lime green, cans bright orange and oasis. Sakura clear pen to knobs. Edge of blue embossed sheet is silver gilding wax, edges of picture cloudy sky ink or chalk.

Stamp and emboss border

Rectangular frame - pink and green

Cut around edge of frame and remove centre of frame. Pink carnation,rose pink, peony or trick or treat to frame inner border. 3D foam pads to sentiment and frame. Edges bundled sage or old paper ink or chalk.. Sakura clear pen to dots of frame.

Black and grey anniversary

Stamp background with black ink, 3D foam pads under sentiment. Sakura clear pen to background. Glue gun to stick flowers and leaves.

Deckchair

Leaves marsh green, deckchair stripes cornflower, frame sandstone, flowers various colours of your choice. Watering can denim blue plus blender pen. Birds walnut and terracotta or burnt umber and henna. Edges pale green pen.

Use chisel tip of promarker around edge of letters firewood or umber or 542. With very little rusty hinge ink and a flat sponge add a little colour to embossed sheet if doubtful leave as it is. 3D foam pads under letters and each layer of flower, gunmetal stickles to flower centre.

Roses in wooden tray

Marsh green leaves, rose stems burnt sienna or walnut, roses heatwave, wooden tray 542 or caramel or tawny owl, flowers on side of tray mango and marsh green. Edges chisel tip of heatwave pen. 3D foam pads under flowers.

Flowers in vase

Stems and leaves marsh green, flowers bluebell, sunflower. cardinal red, peony. Water satin and vase icicle. Edges chisel tip of lime zest promarker.

Cupcake

Cake case and candle stem 414 or pressed leaf, cake icing peony, ribbon trick or treat, doily satin, cut a small slit in top of cake to insert candle, sakura clear pen to bobbles on cake, bundled sage ink or chalk to edges.

Dragonfly

Marsh green leaves and flower stems, dragonfly body frosted jade, wings bluebell,solstice blue, sunflower or mustard, flower at top and bottom centre cardinal red and bluebell, small flowers bluebell, peony and cardinal red, frame slate or shale, sakura pen to dragonfly and flowers.

Grey cotton to centre of buttons, mustard seed or scattered straw ink or chalk to sentiment edges.

Leaves marsh green, forest green, and green shoot or pressed leaf. Frame umber, roses 5240 or wild cranberry, pinks peony or pink carnation, tiny flowers at bottom cerise, lilly of the valley and flowers bottom right ivory, pansies sunflower yellow, flowers bottom left fresh bloom and lilac. Sakura clear pen to add sparkle.
