Gold Oval

Edges of cream oval antique linen ink. Sakura clear pen to leaf veins.

Silver tree

Stamp and emboss with silver powder, use debossed side of embossed layer. Foam pads under tree and sentiment. Black dots and star to decorate tree. Add a little star to centre of large one.

Black and gold bauble

Stamp and emboss with gold sparkle powder then die cut, foam pads under bauble. Gold peel off edges along edges of black. Gold gem to bauble centre and 4 tiny red dots. Gold gilding wax to white edges.

White tree

Edges bundled sage ink.

 Red bauble trio

Foam pads under baubles, use silver thread to stitch hangers. Tiny red dots for holly berries

29 November Christmas

Holly swirl

Stamp and emboss with ‘golden pine’ embossing powder. White gems to snowflakes, large red gems to sentiment, tiny red dots to berries.

White poinsettia +stars

Gilding wax to black ribbed strip, stardust stickles to moon and stars.

Blue bauble

Stamp and emboss with ‘pine trees’ powder. Cut out bauble and put foam pads under, white gems in border snowflakes.

Village in a bauble

Apply stonewashed adirondak ink through bauble mask with large brush, silver gel pen around edge of bauble  before removing mask. Flower soft to trees cottages and ground, sakura clear pen to windows. Edges faded jeans ink.

Circle poinsettia

Gilding wax to edges of poinsettia and red circle, curl poinsettia petals.

22 November Christmas

Black/silver holly

Stamp with perfect medium onto black card, apply silver mica powder. Cut three strips of black. Prick holes around edge of white layer using pierced ruler.

Snowmen

Sky chalk. Spots, hat bands and edges of picture and sentiment  sleigh bell yellow, hats and scarves oasis blue, noses bright orange, skates ice grey 2, sakura clear pen to buttons,  flower soft for snow, stardust stickles to snowflakes.

Gold Nativity

Emboss 2 smallest leaves with brilliant sparkle gold powder. Antique linen ink to edges of poinsettia not embossed layers, sentiment and embossed layer.

Green Tree

Apply green texture paste through stencil, tiny red gems on tree, on embossed layer berry red promarker to berries and edges. Add sakura clear pen to poinsettias.

Father Christmas

Holly leaves marsh green, ivy and poinsettia leaves pine and marsh green, Santa’s face satin, poinsettias berry red, centre of poinsettias and bell sunflower yellow and sakura pen, birds burnt sienna and caramel. Sakura pen to berries, flower soft for beard, eyebrows and hair.

8 November Christmas stamping and gilding flakes

Red window

Stick acetate to inside of window. Snowflakes in the sky are white correcting pen. Scratch the white ground and add frosted lace stickle to ground and roof tops. Edges bundled sage ink. Foam pads under window and sentiment.

Bauble

Stamp and emboss  baubles with aqua tinsel powder, cut out and add foam pads between the layers. Gems to snowflakes and centre of bauble.

Snowflakes

Stamp and emboss snowflakes with white powder. Add silver gilding flakes to a strip of double sided tape. Stardust stickles to snowflakes.

Poinsettia

Gold gilding wax to edges of leaves, put double sided tape either side of centre strips and add Verdigris gilding flakes.

Log cabin

Chalk sky, trees march green plus sakura clear pen, cabin walnut or other dark brown, windows and door glass sunflower yellow. Fence firewood or umber, edges frosty sky or cloudy blue ink, apply tacky glue with end of paintbrush for flower soft to make snow. Roof, top of chimney frosted lace stickles. Stardust stickles to snowflakes.

Tree

Parcel ribbon berry red, foam pads under parcels, sakura pen to join the dots on tree.

Bauble

Stamp and emboss with green powder then cut out, foam pads under bauble, tiny red dots to bauble.

Church

Gems to snowflakes, sakura pen to holly leaves.

Snowman

Along the long edge of card crease at 1½” 3” and 7¼”

Fold and cut off excess card.

Snowman scarf berry red, buttons and eyes black nose bright orange, hat china blue and mouth ice grey 1. Edges of snowman and sentiment frosty sky or cloudy blue ink. Gems to border, stickles to snowflakes.

Wreath

Gold gilding wax to edges of red background.  Stick wreath to card then put back all the leaves, add red dots for berries, gold dots to poinsettia and tiny peel off dots to flower centres.

October 11 Christmas fabric cards

Fabric stocking

Fabric cards

Use the template to cut wadding slightly smaller than template. Put tape or glue around back of aperture to stick fabric. On the stocking use gold border peel off across the top. Stardust stickles to snowflakes. For the fabric tree cut off the tree base from template, colour brown then stick on top of fabric. For bauble fabric needs to be straight!

Deer and trees

Pumice stone or hickory smoke ink to tree edges. Edges of frame and sentiment berry red promarker. Tear the hammered white card then scratch back to make snow. Frosted lace stickles for snow, stardust stickles to trees. Sakura clear pen for eyes on deer and birds. Red gems for holly berries.

Red bow tree

Stamp and emboss tree with white powder. White gems to tree, stardust stickles to snowflakes and red gems to sentiment.

October 4 Christmas

Lampost

Chalk sky, church walls sandstone, roof winter spruce (green) Trees pine or forest green, lamppost ice grey 2 light sunflower yellow. Sakura pen to snow in sky, windows and lamp bulb. White flower soft for snow on the ground.

Gold poinsettia

Edges of embossed layer and sentiment brushed corduroy ink. Antique linen ink to edges of poinsettias. Add sparkly peel off dot to gold berries.

Church window

Nativity

Cut out Nativity and colour edges black. Sakura clear pen to halos and base lines. Starust stickles to stars on picture and card base. Add antique linen ink to edge of music plus dark brown pen to edges of music and sentiment. Foam pads under nativity and sentiment.

Father Christmas

Frame, hat and outer coat berry red, inside coat forest green, toy sacks umber or firewood (brown). Gold braid and star pole sleigh bell or gold, sky frozen lake or pastel blue. Sakura clear pen to braid. Stardust stickles to stars, beard flower soft and coat edges fluffy stuff.

September 27 Step cards

Chocolates

Chocolates various browns, inside of box sandstone, bow and swirls sleigh bell yellow. Box berry red. Sakura clear pen to add sparkle.

Daffodils

Daffodils all over with tulip yellow or 47 then add amber or 44 to trumpets. Leaves marsh greenOther flowers cornflower blue, heatwave (orange) daisies and tiny flowers cardinal red or wild cranberry. Butterfly honeycomb all over then burnt orange accentsSakura pen to small flowers and stardust stickles to the daisy centres. Edges bundled sage ink.

Lilac background

Stamp background with lilac petals ink. Cut out flowers and cut between petals then shape. Edge of sentiment plumeria ink (pink) Stickles to flower centre.

20 September gift boxes

Black gift bag

Use templates to cut and crease black and red. Apply gold gilding wax to outside of black card. Stick together with red backed tape or glue. Make 2 holes for ribbon. Stick bow and Velcro tab on.

White box

Use templates to cut and crease card. Stick together with red backed tape or glue. Use silver thread for tag.

Orange flowers

Stamp onto patterned blue card with white embossing powder. Plain blue goes under the frame.

White flower on blue

Frosty sky colour cloud to white square, dry then stamp lightly pattern with clear embossing powder and heat. Edges of sentiment cloudy blue ink, foam pads under square and sentiment.

Sports

Cricket ball cardinal red, rugby ball walnut and henna. Rounders bat caramel, tennis racket and small ball apple or green shoot, gloves mustard. Edges of picture and balls hickory smoke ink.
