Green flowers on grey

Put die onto the grey card then mask

on top and ink with black soot ink.

Lilac Squares

Dusty concord distress ink through

mask onto grey pearl card. Trim to fit.

Long flower in rectangle

Marsh green leaves, flowers orchid or

purple then dots of pink on top (any

dark pink with fine nib).

Tree

Draw in birds with fine black pen. The

hills and sky are done with ink and

mask. The tree is stamped in black ink.

Sakura clear pen to leaves.

Vase of pink flowers

Vase pastel blue flowers magenta or

499, leaves marsh green, black glaze

pen  to flower dots. Stardust stickles to

flower centres. Chalk edges.

Flower vase

Marsh green, iris is lilac and bluebell, roses berry red,tulips cadmium yellow or canary, daisies heatwave and burnt umber centre, bowl shale, edge bundled sage ink or chalk.

Dress

Chalk to edges of small circles. Sakura clear pen to spots and necklace.

Sewing

Dummy mustard and stand sandstone or tan or putty, mending yarn cotton and buttons marsh green sewing machine mustard and icicle, scissors icicle, tape measure and thimble sand dune, old paper or bundled sage ink or chalk to edges. Black cotton stitched through button then glued.

Gardening

Chalk the backgrounds first then colour. Plant pots henna or terracotta, leaves marsh green, plant labels satin,various pinks and purples for flowers, whisper pens (the thin ones) ideal to dab flowers in the little pots. Grass is meadow green, gloves and tool handles cardinal red,tool blades ice grey 2 and trowel grey squirrel, pot handle burnt umber, spray bottle twilight sky, seed packets starfish and amber,tools container marsh green and label sunflower . After colouring use a pencil to define edges of images. Embossed flower background is chalked, edges of image forest moss ink or chalk.

Birds

Wing and tail on small bird canary or sunflower, lime green for large bird, bird bodies 7170 or china blue, 7130 or cornflower. Beaks ice grey 1, flowers berry red, leaves marsh green, waterfall stickles to embossed layer, glossy accents to birds.

Blue squares

Mock stitch lines are done with pencil and ruler. I have used the scallops as a guide for even spacing. Wrap the ribbon around the white layer before you stick the layers together.

Brown and rust flower

Colour petal edges with pale promarker like sandstone, putty or tan. Cut centre tips if required to allow tight packing of petals. Stick 4 large buff and 4 large rusty coloured petals to small white circle. Cut the remaining 4 large petals in half (width ways) to fill in gaps after you have layered up small petals. The 2 die cut petals will hide the centre.

Butterfly

Chalk to edges of sentiment tag. Platinum stickles to butterfly body.

Black star

Snip tips of segments in centre if required for good fit.

Mustard flower

Glue tips of 4 large petals and stick to small white circle. Fill in gaps with the other 4 large petals repeat process for small petals then apply the 2 die cut flowers to centre. Edges of petals colour with mustard promarker or mustard seed ink. Edges Mustard seed ink or chalk.
